Turkey Shoot

An important message from the Director of the Tri City Union Gospel Mission, Don Porter, about this event:
"Our supply of turkeys for the upcoming distribution for November and December special food boxes, we are practically starting from scratch. Translated that means that instead of starting with 150-200 we are less than 100 turkeys on hand. We will need generous turkey donations to reach our minimum of 600 plus. The next best things are cans of sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce plus other vegetables."

With this message from Don we are asking all participants of the 2013 Turkey Shoot and our daily players to help Don and the Mission out. We have donation crate ready to be filled up today with can goods, personal hygiene items, and non perishable food items. We are also asking players in the 2013 Turkey Shoot to bring extra turkeys the day of the event to bridge the shortfall the Union Gospel Mission has with their plans for the November and December Special Food Boxes.
